"Well, that certainly puts us in a bind." The angel remarks, sounding a bit lost and disappointed. There's a chance that, were it not for the fact that this is such a curious case, and that Arachne seems to recognize him and Crowley as something other than human, perhaps he angel would not really bother. Part guilt, part curiosity, he figures he might as well do what he can to help the poor girl.

"Have you...attempted to use them?"

That gets a 'bitch, please' look that's at least half osmosed from Crowley. "I had classes this morning. Besides, knowing my luck that's when people would start noticing."

What startles him is how familiar that look is, rather than the look itself. It never quite works when Crowley looks at him that way, either.

"Well, did anyone else see them on the way here?"
